Introduction

Most Canadians, adults and children alike, have no first hand experience with "child protection" agency and do not know the true nature of their activities. To enhance the chance of survival when fall prey in the "child protection" industry, it is imperative that both parents and children understand what they are up against at the onset. The sooner they realize what they are dealing with and their tactics often used against families, the better the chance they will have in protecting their children. Set aside your differences within your family, lock arms with your spouse, children and extended family members and form an united front to deal with this challenge.

This page is written to enlighten children of older age to see the reality through the fateful experience of those who had received "service" from "child protection" social workers. Our objectives are:

  1. to prepare children to deal with the potential ordeal in foster homes;
  2. to help children to cope with the changes after removal and to protect themselves;
  3. to help children to understand schemes in the "child protection" industry and respond appropriately;
  4. to advance understanding of a human right, moral, political and social justice issue under the travesty of "child protection".

If your children are still with you and you see the writings on the wall that they may be removed, sit down with your children and go through this page with them. It is difficult for parents to discuss this subject with children. Give them the proper guidance to protect themselves against the potential dangers in foster homes. You will not have this opportunity after they are removed.

Colloquial and simple English is used to better relate to this group of browsers. Video and interactive cartoon are used to improve retention of attention. Information presented therein is not a fictitious scare tactic. It is derived from:

  • documented facts;
  • real experience of families who had received "services" from child protection agencies; and
